PhysioRehab is our most popular group exercise class!

It is physio-led and each participant has their own individualised program. It involves a mixture of Clinical Pilates, reformer-based exercises and functional strengthening.

  • Only available at our Gerringong clinic.
  • Class limited to 4 people.
  • 10-week terms, plus one week available for ‘make-up’ classes

An assessment is required with a physiotherapist to develop your individualised pilates program. A second 1:1 appointment may be recommended to ensure you are familiar with the program and safe to begin classes.

Physio S&C fits a range of training modalities, including high-level balance and stability training, tendon conditioning, muscle training and end-stage rehabilitation.

Like our other group exercise classes, your program is designed to your individual needs and performance goals.

PhysioStrong is our physiotherapist designed and led, general exercise program.

This safe, fun and supportive class is suitable for those looking to improve their balance, upper and lower body strength, bone density and to reduce their falls risk.

To assess your readiness for exercise and current level of health and  function, you will be required to attend an assessment with a physiotherapist, before joining the class.

  • Run continuously throughout the year (not in terms).
  • Available at both Gerringong & Kiama clinics.
  • Classes limited to 7 people.

Pre and Postnatal classes have been developed and will be run by our Southern Coast Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team.

Exercise is important for women during pregnancy and after the birth of your child. This class focuses on the core, posture, mobility and strengthens all the key muscles that support the spine and pelvis including the pelvic floor muscles.

Ladies will need a pre class assessment with one of our pelvic health physiotherapists and those who are pregnant will need clearance from their pregnancy health care provider.

ONERO™ is an award-winning, evidence-based exercise program designed specifically for individuals with osteoporosis.

The program consists of supervised, bone-targeted, high-intensity resistance and impact training, which has been scientifically shown to reduce osteoporotic fracture risk and improve bone, muscle, and physical function.

A hallmark of the training is its requirement for close supervision by trained professionals with the appropriate clinical and exercise expertise.

ONERO™ also includes fall prevention exercises to improve balance and mobility, further reducing the risk of osteoporotic fractures

GLA:D® Australia, which stands for ‘Good Life with osteoArthritis in Denmark,’ is an evidence-based education and exercise program for individuals experiencing symptoms of hip or knee osteoarthritis.

The program is considered the best first treatment for this condition. It involves an initial assessment, two education sessions, and twelve supervised group exercise sessions over six weeks, focusing on improving joint control, confidence, and strength.

This program offers a safe alternative to medication and surgery, helping participants improve function and self-manage their condition for a more active life.
